Like the law is going to stop him now lmfao
So he was breaking the law?
Hm… I wonder what my punishment would be for breaking the law…
I don’t know, what’s your net worth?
It isn’t really about his net worth. Capitalists (oligarchs) like Trump because for some reason he is the right kind of ghoul to be their tool. And police like who the oligarchs like.
His wrist is really gonna be hurting as he inspectea the concentration camps. Lmao
Trump and his cultists are fapping too hard while making eye contact with El Salvador. The “State of Exception” that El Salvador suspended its own constitution to implement is basically white supremacist porn. All those tattoed Hispanic gang members line up cross legged inches apart in nothing but their underwear … must MAGAts finish out in 30 seconds. They so badly want this for the USA.
If and when we finally escape from Trump and his ilk, we need to have a real discussion and plan for reparations for everyone he’s deporting and detaining (assuming that hopefully they are still alive), and constitutional reforms to limit executive power.
There are too many white liberals quietly supporting Trump’s actions, even if they’d never say it, and we can’t allow the Right to become the “useful authoritarians” for Center-White America to unleash on minorities every couple decades.
You missed the part about barring his supporters from ever influencing (voting running funding supporting etc) another election by whatever means necessary.
are you suggesting barring trump voters from democracy, because no fuck that.
Yep, they’ve lost that privilege. See Reconstruction for another example of folks losing the privilege of voting for the direction of this nation.
absolutely not, nobody should ever be barred from democracy. out of the question find another policy to advocate.
fascism to retaliate against fascism is flatly fucking stupid.
participation in democracy and governance is not a privelege.
In fact it is. We don’t get to participate in the vast majority of our governance already. Now you could argue that a society should afford full democratic rights to all of its citizens, but that is not the system we’re living in. Even in the areas where we’re allowed to participate, we have exceptions that bar many millions of people from participating, including but not limited to prisoners and in most places ex cons.?
It is not a privelege, it is something being deprived from people by an ever increasingly fascist state. You do not fix a problem by copying it, the other user argued for disenfranchisement, for genocide.
Somehow on beehaw, arguing that it’s mass disenfranchisement or mass executions of roughly a third of the united states, over 100 million people, is fine for some reason. injustice now is not solved by injustice tomorrow, and any person who argues for mass genocidal disenfranchisement is, in fact, a fascist.
Oh I agree that we should not be moving to strip these people of given rights, don’t get me wrong, but enfranchisement has historically been a privilege. Part of the movement towards justice has been extending that privilege to more and more people, and that seems to have positive effects on the society as a whole, but it seems metaphysical to imply that it is not something granted by the state under a nation state framework.
I’m for reeducation and re-entry into society for all but the most unredeemable, and I don’t think, as horrific as they are, most trumpers are unredeemable. We’ve seen even those most enthused and unrepentant tools of empire redeemed, such as Japanese soldiers who returned from imprisonment by the Chinese after the war to become staunch anti imperialists for the rest of their lives. Very few are incapable of growth, no matter how stunted their development may be. I don’t necessarily think fascists should be allowed to vote until they have repented their fascist views, but I also don’t think I have enough right to make that decision myself.
The other option is executing them for their treason.
THEY DON’T GET ANOTHER CHANCE TO FUCK UP MY LIFE.

Who? Who are these people? How do we identify them?
Who are they as a group, or who are they as in, list their names?
Even in Trump’s first term, I heard liberals (often older, homeowners/ wealthier) saying things like, “He’s not good, but the border is a problem. It’s impossible for people to find a job nowadays.”, or claiming that Biden and Harris (the Border Czar, dontchaknow) were letting people ‘flood in’.
This past election cycle, anti-immigrant rhetoric popped up across liberal media takes on what Democrats needed to do differently to appeal to more voters, insisting that Dems actually want to lock down the border.
I’ve already heard one Dem-voting person say that Trump’s “already fixed the border”. They won’t vote for him, but they also won’t brook discussion of any real resistance to him, either. And they are actively hostile to reforms Leftwards, because honestly I think many of them secretly want him to succeed in creating a
white ethnostate that benefits them, without them having to endorse it themselves. How do we identify them?
Talking to people. Discussing current events. Discuss Trump. I’ve seen it most among upper-middle class Boomers, but I am sure there are plenty more across other demos.
Good to see sanity prevailing.
Next question is how the Trump administration will respond. My guess is that they’re not going to do anything about everyone they’ve deported illegally at this point.
Going by recent Trump logic he will say to the judge:
I picked you because, frankly, I had never heard of you, but that’s okay. But I picked you, [Fernando], but you’re not being very nice.
Why don’t you just say [my use of the Alien Enemies Act is fine] and, you know, go on to something else?"
