I always thought it was old people complaining, so maybe now I am old, but I dont like all the billboards, least of all the digital ones, that are sprouting everywhere. I also agree that it has nought to do with Aquinas needing funds for scholarship students.
Theres this one digital billboard that i can see from over a kilometre away shining brightly into drivers eyes at night. I think its along Tonkin hwy. The digital ones are ridiculously bright.
Russell said the land was zoned “private community purposes”, which had among others an objective to “provide sites for privately owned and operated recreation, institutions and places of worship”, but said for authorities to deem this billboard functioned as a fundamentally private or community objective would make a mockery of the definition. He noted Aquinas did not pay council rates on its land.
Wtf, if thats the case, this shouldn’t even be a glint in their greedy little eyes then.
