    Everyone is a liar and everything is fake news. The media reports something? Lies. AI says something? Lies. Your neighbour tries to tell you something? Lies. The whole world freaks out and tries to convince you to change your ways? Lies.

    Everyone is a liar except for when they say something I agree with and don’t have to think too hard about. Everyone is a liar except for my little in group.

      If you test their opinion on AI, they will dismiss the answer of AI because “it hallucinates”.

        Ironic you say that because the actual answer on if people trust AI is subtle and requires nuance and more then a one word answer. Yet here you are painting everyone on Lemmy with the same brush.

          There’s a large anti-AI movement on Lemmy. I assume you are aware of this? This is a left wing social media platform. The original creators did this so that communists had a safe space without any authority other than themselves being able to censor them.

          I have subtle and nuanced criticism on Lemmy, mainly I just bait people into banning me. As it’s entertaining to see how easily people that desire such power will start abusing them.

          There’s no freedom of expression when the ability to censor is so easy to do.

          Freedom of speech has always been measured by how much you allow someone to say something that you do not want to hear.

            I think there is an anti AI movement in reality, no conspiracy required. People like things that make their lives better, most people can’t point to a way in which AI has improved their lives. So it’s not just on here.

            I’m not sure what any of the rest of your comment has to do with AI
