Quickest example I can come up with:
“Winter conditions ahead, reduce speed now.”

It’s OK to add salsa picante (hot sauce) to salsa ranchera (cooked: canned or jarred salsa). That’s what I do to just about any canned, including my own. Mine is always sweet because it’s homegrown tomatoes that provide a lot of sugar and homegrown Anaheim and Hatch chile which never get super hot. Everyone can eat it out of the jar and I can just put picante in it to taste. But yeah, make a pico de gallo whenever you have the fresh veggies to mix it up. Cilantro is also called Coriander in the UK, perhaps Europe also.

rc__buggy@sh.itjust.worksto Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Trump plans to sign an executive order requiring commercial truck drivers to speak English.English426·3 days agoWell, it’s fact. Some truckers and trucker’s groups have theorized that the increase in CDL involved accidents since the relaxing of this rule are caused instead of simply correlated.
I actually agree with enforcing rules like this so even though trump’s an asshole, this one might improve safety.

For example, the landlord of this property said he was really surprised the renters were doing after hours shenanigans, thier lease doesn’t even allow events with alcohol and this was thier last month, he is planninga renovation of the space. So the DEA knows all of this, of course, and raided the place on one of the last nights.

24/25 I guess. Probably whenever you’re too old to go to Coachella
rc__buggy@sh.itjust.worksto News@lemmy.world•Thermal imaging shows xAI lied about supercomputer pollution, group says13·6 days ago122 days must be the time to construct the actual machine and not the building plus the machine, right? Shit, just the dirt work is about 3 months on the colos I’ve been working on in Wyoming. The electricians take about 6 months to work their way down the whole building of 5 colos, so a month for something the size of what’s in those pictures.
Cutting corners on power of that scale or the foundation holding up all that arc flash hazard is asking for trouble, IMO. And in WY they are using huge evaporative coolers but in TN they must need to use either liquid cooling or regular refrigerant AC systems because it’s so much more humid.

I assume the problem is that they can’t put the toll cameras on every exit so they do it at the bridges (which are federally funded?). I guess if I was NYC I’d just figure out a way to put the cameras on my own goddamn streets and then I don’t need the Fed’s permission.

“I’m not even sure it’s legal! We contracted for the price on delivery,” he told the magazine. “If your price of fuel goes up or your truck breaks down, that’s not my problem! That’s what the contract’s for.”
Yes. And if your government imposes a new tax, that’s on you, not the foreign supplier. But in any case, I’m sure there are provisions in the contract even if Canada had imposed an export tax, it’s not going to be absorbed by the supplier.
This buffoon seems to think he’s operating on “handshake deals”. And he’s part of the food supply. Terrifying.
I hate to see the users harmed but it makes me giggle that apple has backed themselves into a corner like this while all us Android Poors are busy ditching everything that’s not USB-C as fast as we can
