mr_MADAFAKA@lemmy.mlOPto Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•Lenovo might soon announce a SteamOS handheld4·5 months agoSo there’s a black handheld with a “steam” button on the left and a “. . .” button on the right, as well as a white version that doesn’t have the steam specific buttons (so probably a windows version).
Best of both worlds
Unfortunate that it doesn’t have trackpads though, the Lenovo Go was one of the only other handhelds to have a trackpad, and I hoped they would keep it.
Looks like there is larger model also, but with no steam button…

mr_MADAFAKA@lemmy.mlOPto Linux Gaming@lemmy.ml•I just found out there's an alternative for the EA app called 'maxima' (similar to Legendary for Epic Games). It would be great if this could be implemented in Heroic Games Launcher1·6 months agohttps://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/s/yNiqKWQZxO
“Hey there. I’m the Community Manager for Armchair Developers. While we continue to establish a baseline for Maxima’s functionality and presentability the repo will remain private. The road is long and we are just at the beginning of it. We will have more to share about Maxima next year.”

Im not sure if this true, but i was reading comments on random Chinese forum(or BiliBili? dont remember exactly) some were saying that rarely anyone wants to use Linux on their hardware or when they buy PCs/laptops that come pre-installed with Linux that people usually just go to PC shop to install Windows on their hardware

mr_MADAFAKA@lemmy.mlOPto Steam@lemmy.ml•Ubisoft Returning to Day 1 Steam Releases Starting With Assassin's Creed Shadows252·7 months agoFrom 2019, they stopped releasing their games on Steam and exclusively released them on their own launcher and Epic Games Store. From 2022, they slowly began putting their games back on Steam (not as day one releases), and now it seems like they are giving up on exclusivity… EA tried same tactic, failed and back on Steam.
its not :c
