I’m in Victoria, BC and I’ll vote NDP for you, you vote Liberal if it’s a contest bt Lib and Con MPs. Even if Lib and NDP MPs split votes here, our riding won’t go conservative.
Not a stupid question at all! It looks like others already commented the links but I’m sorry you’re not seeing the link format for that sentence. Next time I’ll be more helpful and link it now that I know some formatting doesn’t go through for everyone (I was commenting while walking to a meeting and I meant to be helpful but I see now I could have done more!)
NPR, the source that floofloof linked above, is a pretty solid news source. The article linked discusses the mega-prison in El Salvador.

I am interested in how they expect to deal with ALL of the Treaty and unceded Indigenous lands. I’m not Indigenous but from what I’ve heard and read from many Indigenous people in the area of Alberta, they are not likely to want to go with Alberta.
There’s also all of the federal land in Alberta (military bases, natl parks, etc.) I agree with the other comments on how dumb of a move this would be for them. Did they learn nothing from Brexit? Do they KNOW about Brexit?!
