There is an old tradition of mappers deliberately placing very small errors to be able to verify the copying of a map. So no, scraping big chunks is a bad idea. But I sometimes check details on the Gmaps satellite image or streetview.

I found that one very cluttered/unintuitive and not at all beginnerfriendly. I resorted to StreetComplete, not quite the same but gives the same feeling while mapping the details from my surroundings. Its soo satisfying!
Street complete! A fun app for completing details on POIs! Even has a multiplayer option for competing about completing :D
Yesterday I watched the documentary “Hail Statan?”, about The Satanic Temple. Not a bombastic documentary but shows a bit what they are, what modern satanism is and what they do in the US. They do mostly require an intact legal system to fight christian overreach so maybe its over for their legal battles
Love the orthlieb bags. And I’m impressed that your kickstands hold the bike up still. Mine cannot hold itself, even with two full side bags
Not thats a workhorse if Ive ever seen one
Yes, the search is great for starting out! But i think you need to add the python-search plugins first, right? Not that its hard to do but it is something that needs to be done first
Thats how it works in MS Word as well, out to one side or even down I think
The stupidest electoral system… In my opinion the electoral system is the root of almost all problems north-america faces nowadays. It inevitably produces two parties and if you only have two parties your nation is done for because of polarization, the fighting and shifting the overton window, and so on. But mostly because it reduces the whole political landscape, which is very complex, to a a/b decision.
So fashism bad, antifa good
Maybe a more general community for clients of hosting-providers could have a chance of forming? So not only for infomaniak but also hetzner, hostpoint and so on
Es hat ein Waggon mit Bürsten. Logischerweise sind diese nicht aus Metall. Es ist ein Pilotversuch mit 100m Distanz, mal schauen wie es in einigen Jahren aussieht.
Any reasonable government doesnt gove out ascending number-IDs, Right??!
I think it shouldnt be on the consumers but on the lawmaker. Tax airbnbs like real bnbs or like hotels or there are many other levers that can be pulled to make it less profitable than renting to locals
My first thought on that second link was: Id never buy such a thing made of plastic?!
In Switzerland you can get normal Baskets for CHF 15.- to 100.- (around 1:1 to USD). https://www.veloplus.ch/shop/ausruestung/koerbe/gepaecktraegerkoerbe You see them all the time, they are so common that the images often don’t even feature a size comparison or use demonstration like in your first link, because everyone knows them 😅.
10-20 years ago it was considered a woman or gay thing to have them but apparently they are convenient enough to have overcome that stigma.
The one you got is a bit heftier and looks pretty heavy tbh
I mean i got a metal-mesh basket for the back for 20€ and its longer than wide so i can still park my bike in tight spaces. Idk what you mean by “good large basket” but mine is good and large enough
Yea, but doesnt everything get damaged? And even if its while breaking it down when disposing/recycling/dumping it?
Die Techzölle waren in Kraft, aber weniger als ein Tag, soweit ich gehört habe
Or when covered in snow or if the sign is badly damaged
