The sourdough bread, the butter, the cottage cheese or the meatloaf that my sandwiches consisted of weren’t “ultra-processed”. Neither was the boiled egg, the cut up fruits or vegetables or the homemade yoghurt. And of cause I didn’t have an ice pack in my lunch box. I know nobody who had one.

Not sure if you believe that the earth is only a few thousand years old, or you’re trying to say that all people that lived 150 years ago are dead by now, but humankind has been roaming this planet for more than two million years without refrigerators.

People have survived millions of years without refrigerators. Most products don’t get bad in a few hours just because they’re kept at 8° instead of 6°. Granted, there’s some stuff you want to be careful with, like raw poultry and minced meat, but neither the pasteurized milk nor the cured sausage will go bad in just a few hours, even at room temperature. Even if they would, you’d usually see, smell and taste it.

If it was as bad as you say, millions of pupils would die each summer from food poisoning because of the sandwich they carry unrefrigerated with them the whole morning until the lunch break. The temperature in an average teenagers backpack is much higher than that in a refrigerator that has been off for a few hours.

Huh, what city in France are you talking about? Every city I’ve ever visited had mixed zoning with shops and restaurants in the ground floor and flats above. Of cause there are also blocks of houses without shops, but that’s mainly because you need more space to house a certain amount of people than for them to shop.

I there are also suburbs where every house has like a 1000m² of garden around it, and of course these houses don’t have a shop in their basement. But that’s because people choose to live like that and not because it’s the only option.

Afaik it’s a slightly different mix of ingredients (more fat, or less fat or more sugar or something) that is supposed to be better for making froth.

In the upcoming weeks Trump and Putin will split the Ukraine between the two of them. Encouraged by that success, Putin will try to invade Finland in order to reinstate the Russian Empire. Most of NATO will of cause stand with Finland, but Trump (confusing Finland with Denmark, as no true American can tell these nordic countries apart) tries to make a deal: “If Finland wants our support, they must hand over Greenland”. As Finland obviously can’t do that, Trump will say: “Then we must invade Greenland before the Russians get it”. But confusing Greenland with Canada (as no true American can tell these nordic countries apart) he will actually invade Nova Scotia. TBH, I think this orange idiot is so clueless, he might actually try to invade Alaska, believing it to be Canada.

He has threatened Canada that they’ll be the 51. US-State, he has threatened Denmark by saying he’ll “liberate” Greenland. A war of aggression usually doesn’t directly start by invading it, but with unrealisable claims and wrong accusations:

• “Hand over Danzig” and “your troops are violating our border, we’re just protecting our border” before invading Poland in 1939
• “Hand over these (non-existent) WMDs” and “Sadam was involved in 9/11, we’re just fighting terrorism” in 2003

That’s how you talk to countries you’re planning to invade and not to countries you’re planning to protect from invasion.

Haven’t you watched the news in the last 5 weeks? How can you expect the USA to defend a NATO country while they themselves are the aggressor?

Even Hitler had a lower approval rating in the 1933 elections than Trump in 2025. And that was when he was already in power, the first oppositionals where in prison, opposing newspapers were banned and these guys were patrolling in front of the polling stations.

That’s what serious voter suppression looks like.
