you could start your own peertube instance, jus sayin’. I don’t think an instance for vtubers exists just yet.

ier@lemmy.mlOPtoPeertube@lemmy.ml•who do you follow on peertube? & which instances should I follow?2·3 years agoI like linux, I like coding, I like music, I like gaming, I like essays, I like writing, I like art…
if you introduce me something that is cool I will probably find it cool.
You can say I like everything that is interesting. but with a few preferences.
Ask yourself this first, what is your objective using these tools?; Do you want to socialize, or do you have some other objective? Or even do you think using this will help you or will it be a problem that may hinder you instead of helping you do the thing you want to do?
The dilemma you are asking for an answer is meaningless without the context of the question. Possibly one is best for one thing or the other. But I know for a fact if you tried both and understood what you want to do, you can decide it for yourself. After all it’s just a matter of personal preference and the usage case.
Does it work, though?
how about the lite version
you should try fedilab, but i never used friendica with it though
some different features, but well, it’s all pretty similar (all for microblogging). I hate managing different accounts so I just use one. just use what you like the most. you can follow everyone still.
that’s ideal. but free speech on youtube is sort of okay at the moment. (except for nazis, but I don’t really care about them)
for that I’d have to make some sort of contact first, maybe through collaboration and friendships. then I can ask them to come over. I don’t really want to be reposting them either, moreso if they aren’t gonna be active on the fediverse.
I was thinking before that maybe I should make a peertube instance for the missing types of people (Artists/Musicians/Animators/Essayists/Reviewers/etc) (I have no idea what the name is) it’ll be open for registration and i’ll promote it to hell with my friends and myself. but for an account I need to interview each people if they’ll fit the criteria for my instance. it won’t be an instance for such people who just want to mess around or if there is already an instance for them. For that I just need volunteers for interviewers.
well it’s not like I don’t want to violate my own privacy hahah hahahah
ier@lemmy.mlOPtoRun It Yourself@lemmy.ml•is selfhosting public stuff like XMPP, Email, ActivityPub, on a homeserver good for privacy?0·3 years agoI’ve already quit trying to be invisible, I thought doing so would make my life easier but the opposite happened. I kept trying to find ways that are almost impossible to do. Things I want to do by nature is publicly involved.
So the IP just reveals general area of location, correct? Is there anything I want to worry about in my case?
