Their flavour is probably based on the Gros Michel variety of bananas, which was mostly wiped out by a blight in the 1950s. Most bananas these days are the Cavendish variety, which doesn’t taste the same.
Roger Moore was actually a few years older than Sean Connery, but when he was cast it looked like they aged down James Bond.
Harrison Ford was 38 when Raiders of the Lost Ark was released. Raiders took place in 1936 so if Indiana was meant to be the same age as Ford then he was born in 1898. The Last Crusade took place in 1938 so Indiana would be 40 at the time. That would make him 19 years younger than his father, assuming that Henry Jones Sr. and Sean Connery were the same age.
