I don’t think you’re old enough to remember Neopets, but the Neopets community is the most wholesome, friendly, accepting, and generous forum I’ve ever been a part of. It’s on reddit, but is the only reddit community I’m a part of. The website is still fully functional with all the original 2000/2010s elements and its my happy place.

I don’t know why people are still surprised by this… it’s irresponsible to be giving birth, right now, unless someone is in a good place financially. Healthcare costs are ridiculous, houses are too expensive, jobs are basically all automated or outsourced to save CEOs money, and the world in general, is going to shit.
I got my fallopian tubes removed. If I change my mind about wanting kids, I’ll adopt a teen whose been in the foster system for a while. Someone already on this earth. We don’t need more new babies. There’s hundreds of thousands of children in our current foster system who would love a home.

I’ve never met a farmer who didn’t give their dogs a large area to roam, with the exception of when the girls are in heat. Yeah, only two of my mates let their farm dogs into the house, but it’s not fair to make blanket statements.
Not quite the same, but I’m waiting for the day when people will pronounce street names like the GPS, instead of how they are actually pronounced. The street Schoenherr, in my neck of the woods is pronounced "Shane urr (yes, like the planet Omicron Percii 8, cause Detroit (Day twah) is weird), but the GPS says “Shown her”. I’m really curious to see how long it takes for the computer voice to be considered the correct one.
Something I’m seeing a lot is the statement “I’m not distancing myself because of political differences, I’m distancing myself because of moral differences”
Anyone who is happy at the expense of others losing rights, is not different from you politically, they’re different from humanity, as far as basic ethics.
You’re not selfish. You’re strong. Stronger than me and I’m proud of you for trying to fight to help your dad, but please don’t do it at your own expensive. Mine only connect if there’s a lot of lacey/delicate things in the wash with them. If you hook them together before they go in, they’re less likely to come apart, but once I started throwing them in with shirts, sweaters, pants and PJs, they stopped hooking into other things.

I wash all my bras in the machine, on cold and hang them dry. Putting into a lingerie bag is a personal preference. (I only do it if I’m washing other stuff with zippers) If there are deodorant stains, vinegar is pretty effective. Soak the bra and use either a toothbrush or (I know this sounds crazy) the foam top of a dry-cleaner coat hanger, to scrub off deodorant. Idk why the coat hanger foam works but it’s great!

My friend is a lawyer and they’ve had their passport essentially confiscated by the government, instead of it being renewed. (They changed their gender) I am not optimistic, for the outcome, but it’s oddly satisfying seeing a licensed attorney pissed off and going to bat. I hope they kick ass.
I can verify this! My roommate works for the DOD. He can’t tell me much, but every federal worker has been warned they’re going to be purged and replaced with staff Elon chooses. In addition, mandatory Return To Work orders have meant that many of his coworkers will be let go for “missing work” despite the fact that the military knows they moved and they’ve been working remotely for almost 5 years. It’s skuzzy as fuck.
