Isn’t SteamOS open source since it is Linux based (GPL) with the proprietary Steam client on top?

This could be different depending on the country, but in Germany that would still be illegal. I don’t think a rule like you suggest would ever happen if not forced by law
RmDebArc_5@lemmy.mlto Technology@lemmy.world•Instagram will blur nudes in messages sent to minorsEnglish201·1 year agoYes, but it’s very hard/impossible to verify if something is e2e or just encrypted. Personally I wouldn’t be surprised if meta had access to the encryption keys

But personally I’d prefer if they worked on their collaboration (Office) rather than some AI stuff

If they know those are minors and that they know that the pictures are nudes, why the hell don’t they just ban the accounts that try to send nudes to minors? Also who the hell thinks it is a good idea to send nudes to Meta?

Debian? They have good ARM support (the raspberry pi OS is based on Debian, uses its repos). Definitely also install flatpak. Most, but not all, flatpaks have arm builds.
RmDebArc_5@lemmy.mlto Privacy@lemmy.ml•New Windows driver blocks software from changing default web browserEnglish501·1 year agoApparently this is done to block browsers like opera to change the default browser without user consent, but I think this just makes it more complicated to change the default browser. Maybe they’ll add a pop up if an application tries to change it, allowing users to accept, but I don’t think that’s likely

If you find a good deal you can get a NDS lite and a flash card for 50 bucks and have DS, gba natively and emulators for nes/gb. On the highend Steam deck beats everything in my opinion

Or get it from flathub
lime is the most promising fork. Most of the other options are even less different or don’t even have binaries. Do you have any specific things missing from lime3ds? If not I would just use it
