I’m not even sure what dinner toast is. How does OP combine all those? Is he making a quiche?

Edit: I’m probably replying to the wrong comment!

Commenting just to get my name out there.

$100k wtf? I only remember paying for parking at the hospital…evil socialism!
There is an Irish rural accent that pronounces it AY-ther.

Lemmy_2019@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you guys use LLMs for, that is proven to work well with them?1·13 days agoI record meetings of my building’s board of management, nothing secret there, very mundane. I run it through Whisper and give the transcript to ChatGPT. It condenses everything into accurate minutes, resolutions and action items. Saves me a shit ton of work, finished in seconds. I’m never going back!
Floorp has been good to me.
“I think you’ll find…”
I actually love that James swears like a soldier. Don’t know why exactly.
Thinking about it, I would be equally happy to learn Matt swears and James doesn’t. Must be something about the ‘insider’ information!
Lemmy_2019@lemmy.oneto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•A funny thing about Americans and calendar dates1·18 days agoThat’s how YOU say it. Personally, I would say the 10th of March, the 2nd of June. But then, I’m not American.
Lemmy_2019@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What books would you describe as nothing burger?6·22 days agoThe way the book was explained to me, if your dad is a working stiff he’ll just tell you to work hard at whatever high paying job you can get. If your dad is a high finance type of guy, he’ll show you that the real money is in managing money.
Good concept, and true I guess. The book is useless though!
Lemmy_2019@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What books would you describe as nothing burger?3·22 days agoI actually liked The Fountainhead. Rugged, taciturn individualist architect slowly overcomes all the scheming poseurs. It appealed to the younger me anyway. I didn’t pick up on any deeper message at the time and this was pre-internet so I didn’t have a clue who Ayn Rand was.
And Irish – míle.
Lemmy_2019@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•It's Groundhog Day, but everyone's experiencing the loop. What are some daily patterns that would begin to emerge?3·4 months agoI haven’t read the source material but the movie is one of the best sci-fi films of the new millennium, and certainly one of the most enjoyable. Films like Arrival, Dune, Blade Runner 2049 are visually striking and thoughtful but Edge of Tomorrow is also great fun.
Lemmy_2019@lemmy.oneto Movies@lemmy.world•IMDb's Top 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2025English1·4 months agoThe top ten box office movies for 2024 had 8 sequels, a live action Disney remake, and the first part of an adaptation of a Broadway musical based on a book which was a prequel to another remade movie based on a book.
I reckon the 2025 list reflects the state of the industry quite well.
James Connolly and Jim Larkin would be horrified.
