My other gear is rather plain and entry level. I have a nice Kriga tail bag, but my new MC does not have good mount points for it :(

Mostly because they are a Linux first company and wanted to sponsor them a bit. I will say that the keyboard is not cheap, but it does feel quit nice and sturdy. It does have a built in dock; which is pretty nice.
InternetCitizen2@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What would you be willing to sacrifice for a better world?4·2 days agoMy car and my motorcycle. The motorcycle in particular hurts a bit more because that leans more into the sport and pleasure (cars do it for me too, but I like the MC more). I live in the US so no decent public transport for me. I’d have to walk about a half mile to get to the closest stop to my house. Closest drop off to my work still means another walk of two miles. Side walks are a bit lacking too. Not to mention that the scheduled for the bus is a bit too limited for what I need.
I love driving for fun, in particular on the MC, but that is getting to. Having to? That sucks and is kind of bad for the environment.

You literally have multiple comments about safe storage. If you’re suggesting that there should be laws in place to force people to put their firearms in a locked safe then that’s a stupid draconian law because it cannot be enforced without the police having the ability to randomly come into your home and check…it also requires a registry.
I did not. I am simple saying that people that cannot be responsible with their guns should not have them. Your insistence on defending those who are irresponsible make me feel you should be disarmed as well perhaps.
you seem to think I’m some libertarian.
Yeah, your shit takes justifying others shitty behavior.
Deserve what? Brandishing a firearm is illegal. What else do you want it to be?
Interesting you don’t denouce that behavior.
I see all kinds of bad gun ownership and fuckwads like you defending it is appaling. People leave their guns in plain view in cars in public parking lots, forget them out in a yard, or drunk and shooting them.
Gun problems also go beyond kids being harmed, so you simply pulling those stats and ignoring the rest is very disingenuous of you.
Why did i say you are a troll.
Seriously tho, read the start of the thread again. I took a reasonable position on the matter. Its you and that other person that went out of their way to be unreasonable and defend irresponsible gun owners. And you are the one who made it about kids to begin with. Then half way you try some “not every house has kids BS” backing out of your original point.
I simply said that leaving guns around for a just in case is not very responsible.
So yeah, I am calling you a disingenuous person. And one that is emotionally unready for this conversation, so I will be stopping here.

Maybe you should go back and read my point. I’m saying people are too lax on safety and we should make excuses for them. If you want to add something to that then do so. Otherwise you’re talking past me and not making a point.
