Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) is a criminal (“terrorist”, now) organization out of California. It was initially made up of Salvadoran teenagers that escaped the country during civil war back in the 80s, as they banded together forming street gangs to fight and protect themselves from the larger LA gangs that would extort migrants. Over time the gang evolved into a full criminal organization while expanding to activities like international trafficking, kidnapping and murder.

I honestly believe his staff quickly threw the labels on as nonsensical interpretations, but after trump believed those labels were inked on Garcia’s knuckles they’ve just rolled with it. Weaponized stupidity to the extreme.

No one can explain it because it’s nonsense. Back before trump was a thing, I saw a documentary on MS-13 - their tattoos were not subtle or coded. Many members had it literally written across their face or chest.

They always need to vote again, sometimes a president veto will cause a bill to lose support and reps have an opportunity to change their vote.

Sometimes though presidents won’t veto if it passes initially at that threshold, depending how embedded they are in their perspective.

I’m somewhat surprised how much stuff has to come out to get at that shoulder button, it’s a lot more involved than when I replaced my trigger - but still worth it I think. The ifixit guide is very good.
