So honest question here:

Why can’t it be used to transmit information? Wouldn’t we be able to capture the state and use that be turned into instructions the same way we use binary currently?

Binary is essentially just a series of “on” and “off” states that we capture and translate into instructions, so why can’t we do that with entangled particles? Like position 6 translates into instructions F and position 2 triggers instructions B.

I know this is overly simplified but I do not follow that we can’t send information this way when looking at it through this lense.

I mean if they are the ones setting them on fire they don’t need to claim it is arson since it is. They just need to claim they weren’t the arsonists.

Yup and are comparable in price to eggs currently I didn’t say it was a practical alternative just that they work as a perfect replacement. More of just highlighting there are options.

One of my kids is super allergic to eggs so we’ve gone years without them in the house and found ways to adjust recipes due to that and other food allergies.

Look up vegan alternatives to eggs. I know applesauce can be used in cookies as my wife has done this. Also if you need eggs in savory recipes avocados have the same fat to protein ratio and work great

I worked tech support for years and the trick is to just start off with a list of everything you’ve done. Even if you haven’t done it just hit them with that list. Most people working tier 1 support don’t actually know anything about technology and just have a list of steps to take. Once they’ve exhausted that list they are lost and have no clue what to do and that’s when they would hit me up on their help desk.

Another aspect of it could also be that they assume you don’t know what you’re talking about and are just regurgitating something you read somewhere. You wouldn’t believe how many times someone would call in with something like this “I just need this xyz solution” and they would be completely wrong about it. For the reps that know what they are doing this is at least 1 or 2 calls a day for them.

Love Mistborn! Was my first Sanderson book and I’m only disappointed in the fact that I’m caught up on pretty much all his series and have to wait for new ones.

Currently I’m reading book 2 in the Kagen the damned series called Son Of The Poison Rose. I am thoroughly enjoying it and the series. It’s set in HP Lovecraft’s universe but during medieval times and is brutal. It is definitely a mature read as Johnathan Mayberry doesn’t skimp on the details in any of his scenes. But I would highly recommend to any fans of Lovecraft or medieval fantasy novels.

I feel ya brother. I live in a conservative small town, have a big beard, wear my hair in a high and tight cut, drive a truck and I can go on. I get mistaken by these people all the time as one of theirs. Thing is I couldn’t be further from them. My kids godparent (for lack of a better term) is trans. I live in Texas and one thing with all the people moving from CA is that they are mostly red voters. A lot of them were willing to move here because they felt it would better represent them while the blue people stayed. At least this is the sentiment that I’ve seen expressed from the people that moved here
