Note, Harvard here is using the Hitlerian definition of antisemitism, which holds that Jews are permanent foreigners in every land but Israel. Antisemites like Harvard’s administration believe that to be religiously or culturally Jewish means that you innately have ties and loyalty to the state of Israel. To Harvard’s admins, a Jewish person can never be truly and fully American. They’re following in the long tradition going back to Hitler and before that holds that Jews are always suspect foreigners, regardless of their own character, beliefs and deeds. If you are a Jew, you are from birth tied to Israel. To Harvard admins, Jews aren’t real Americans; they are incapable of it by their nature. This is the logic of the Japanese internment camps, and it is the logic the Harvard administration espouses.

This is why to them antisemitism and anti-Zionism are one and the same. Modern Israel is an expansionist Apartheid state. To the Hilterian leaders of Harvard, this means that all Jews everywhere are morally culpable of the actions of the Israeli government. Criticism of the Israeli government is equivalent to attacking the very identity of Jewish people.

Harvard has revived its old tradition of antisemitism, fully embracing Hitlerian ideals of Jewish suspect loyalty and race-based essentialism. Hopefully some day they will be held accountable for their disgusting antisemitism.
