Yes, the pickup truck that is shaped like a low-effort Pinewood Derby car will definitely be safer for pedestrians, that totally scans. /s
It’s actually peak pinewood Derby design, you just need to carve the block into a cybertruck backwards so that the “bed” is over the front wheels.
What of it hits a pedestrian? How can that Be sAFeR?!
I thought they were exaggerating the panels not coming together smoothly around the edges of the vehicle but was at a used car dealership yesterday and they had one as the dealerships advertising I guess (letters down the side) and I walked up to it an man was it bad. Like if I put my pinky on the hood the side panel over the wheel would be flush with the top of my pinky on one side, and the panel on the other side was opposite. The build quality just seemed terrible for the panels. The hub cap covers or w.e they are called you can also put a finger between, but they may call that on purpose because it seemed consistently unflattering.

wait, K-car like 80s Chrysler? Or kei car, like tiny Japanese car/truck/van?
The 80’s Crysler
We smacked a deer in my 98 Jetta (back in the early 2000s) and the only damage to my car was the plastic grill broke.
The dear was … not going to be alright.
At sub 50 mph the deer went asplodey
I was cleaning viscera out of the airbox/ intake manifold and starter. A lot fused on to the bottom of the engine block.
My brother and I hit a deer in a mid 90s civic, drivers side quarter panel.
Not a ton of damage done tbh.
The next morning however my dog yanked a 1 foot long shaving of deer body out of the door panel …. So that was neat.
And to think… the dog already loved car rides, just imagine when they think Honda Civics are some sort of carniceria on wheels
It’s not bad engineering, it’s a feature!

I wonder what happens when it hits a pedestrian or cyclist.
At 75 mph, a pedestrian or cyclist isn’t going to have a great time, regardless of what hits them.
large insurance settlement for death and dismemberment intensifies
You spelled raided house and civil forfeiture for the uppity family that dared to sue wrong.
Where was he driving at 75 mph, because that didn’t look like an interstate highway?
Welcome to Texas, where speeding and open-carry are fine but cussing is strictly prohibited :D
There are tons of 2 lane roads that parallel the interstate in Wyoming where the limit is 65.
And when it’s windy they close the interstate and increase the limit on the side roads in places.
When you have that far to drive between places and it’s largely in a straight line, it makes sense to go pretty fast.
Oh wow.
