I ordered this carbine a while ago and it finally showed up. I was in rush today but managed to get a basic camo paintjob on it and throw on my LPVO. I replaced the M4 style buttstock with a CAR style I had for some reason. It will be slingless tomorrow, but I will fix that soon.
I’d held off on getting an airsoft AR derivative for a long time, but it was just too tempting to finally pick one up.
I know the LPVO is a little far back. Tomorrow I’ll be zeroing and finding a good feel for where to sit it on the rails.
Nice tasteful classic m4. I zeroed my lvpo yesterday as well. I did it indoors at around 15m and the first game is in 5 hours. I just drew a circle in the center of an a4 paper, fired a grouping and adjusted the turrets to move the grouping to be more or less centered.
On my fixed power optic I used an old paintball mask as the target. I zeroed at a distance where the mask lined up with the size of the reticle’s ring. I’ve found it to be good for range estimation.
That’s a clever method as it just gives you instant feedback with sound
