    This petulant baby was handed an economy that was the envy of the world, and within a few short weeks, we are getting articles about how we can save for a thing that was not a thing a few short months ago.

      Harris would not have started a trade war, drove all the people who were willing to work for cheap out of the country, put millions of American SSI cheques in jeopardy, fired hundreds of thousands of rank and file workers who make things run, let alone shelled out millions of dollars to outsource gulags in El Salvador. If you mean ‘more or less the same’ as in like 2024, sure, I agree with you. If you mean ‘more or less the same’ to say we’d be facing the same problems under a hypothetical Harris admin, not just no but hell the fuck no, we wouldn’t have.

        Oh, 100% agreement. My comment was snark about the supposed “leftist” maximalists/accelerationists (and probably most are just Russian trolls or useful idiots) that are even still spouting that it’s hohum, no big deal, because somehow all Americans “deserve” donvict and something something, some stupid and childish leftist purity test argle bargle, I’m better than all of you because I can see things so much deeper and yadda yadda American imperialism, oh, and something about capitalism.

        It’s all so tiresome. For the people that actually buy this kind of thing…I remember when I was 13, too. People don’t “deserve” the kind of hell on Earth that something like donvict may very well unleash on the people within this country, no matter what the sins of our foreign policy are or are not. That kind of “morality” is something I want nothing to do with.

        This is either some deeply stupid armchair dorm-room philosophical bullshit, or it’s just trolling from people in another country (I have a guess as to which one most come from) that want to see America turned into a shithole.
