It was quite relaxing, though I only managed to do half of it, and none of the chairs. So I’m going to ask the paint shop manager at work if he’s got time to give them to the sand blasters.

    It would be more about getting it smooth than getting all the paint off. You’re gonna need a primer for aluminium anyway.

      It’s a reasonably intricate pattern, so the more paint I can remove the better the finished item will look.

      The previous owner slapped a thick coat of white emulsion over the original lovely green paint. That emulsion has become cracked and flaky and looks dreadful now, so I figured I’d see what I can do to make it look nice.

      Got some white primer to go on, after which I’ll return it to green. It’ll be nice.
