i have some kind of dairy intolerance (untested, lactase only partially alleviates symptoms), threw up eggs recently and now want nothing to do with them, think gelatin and honey are just gross, and am too cheap/worried about contamination to buy meat and fish

all of this adds up to me being basically some kind of mostly vegan but i can’t take ethical credit for it lol

I rent and I don’t love it, but my dream living situation (houseboat) will require years of career development to get financially stable enough to afford it so I’d rather not tie myself down to a property before then anyway

Depression isn’t only “when you don’t do anything.” That’s one of the forms severe depression can take, but it’s better generalized as persistent lack of positive emotions and/or motivation resulting from decreased brain activity in key areas

Also people diagnosed with anxiety can “handle stress,” just not to the level demanded by modern society without significant impairment and distress

At least where I live there’s a cultural learned helplessness around sewing. “Nobody does it anymore so how am I supposed to have learned?” or “doesn’t sewing something cost more than just buying a new garment?” (both I’ve personally heard people say)
